What does blockchain do in allgram?
Digital ID uses blockchain-backed records for verified identity. P2P chat, regular encrypted chats, calls, and public pods are separate communication features brought together in the same app. Blockchain supports verified identity; encryption protects personal chats; P2P provides a live peer connection.
Do I need a Digital ID to use allgram?
No. Digital ID is optional and available with Premium after verification. You can start with a free account for public pods, regular private chats, and calls. Compare the plans.
How is P2P chat different from regular chat?
P2P mode is a live conversation between two online people, available with Premium. Its messages stay in memory during the app session instead of being saved to regular chat history. Regular end-to-end encrypted chats let you return to a conversation later.
Does peer-to-peer mean no servers at all?
P2P chat exchanges messages over a peer connection. Services help the devices find each other, and a network relay may be needed to establish a connection. Calls use a separate media system. “Peer-to-peer” describes the chat connection, rather than every part of the app.
